Optical characterization of excited-state spin Hamiltonians and clock transitions at telecommunication wavelength in Tm3+:YAlO3
Akshay Babu Karyath, Luozhen Li, Julien Bertrand +6
The zero-phonon line (ZPL) between the two excited-state manifolds 3F4 and 3H4 of the trivalent thulium ion in yttrium aluminum perovskite (Tm3+:YAlO3) lies within the telecom E-ba…
A unified framework for determining transition dipole polarization in solid-state spin defects
Gaia Da Prato, Yong Yu, Wolfgang Tittel +1
Spin-photon interfaces based on solid-state defects are key building blocks for scalable quantum networks and hybrid quantum platforms. Optimizing light-matter coupling in these sy…
Spectroscopy and Coherence of an Excited-State Transition in Tm:YAlO at Telecommunication Wavelength
Luozhen Li, Akshay Babu Karyath, Julien Bertrand +12
We characterize spectroscopic and coherence properties of the 1451.37 nm excited-state zero-phonon line (ZPL) between the and the manifolds of a thulium-dop…
Qubit teleportation between a memory-compatible photonic time-bin qubit and a solid-state quantum network node
Mariagrazia Iuliano, Marie-Christine Slater, Arian J. Stolk +8
We report on a quantum interface linking a diamond NV center quantum network node and 795nm photonic time-bin qubits compatible with Thulium and Rubidium quantum memories. The inte…
