Limits on the Macho Content of the Galactic Halo from the EROS-2 Survey of the Magellanic Clouds
P. Tisserand, L. Le Guillou, C. Afonso +35
The EROS-2 project was designed to test the hypothesis that massive compact halo objects (the so-called ``machos'') could be a major component of the dark matter halo of the Milky…
Removing the Microlensing Blending-Parallax Degeneracy Using Source Variability
R. J. Assef, A. Gould, the EROS-2 +2
Microlensing event MACHO 97-SMC-1 is one of the rare microlensing events for which the source is a variable star, simply because most variable stars are systematically eliminated f…
The OGLE-II event sc5_2859 : a Classical Nova outburst?
C. Afonso, J. F. Glicenstein, A. Gould +3
The OGLE-II event sc5_2859 was previously identified as the third longest microlensing event ever observed. Additional photometric observations from the EROS (Experience de Recherc…
Galactic Bulge Microlensing Optical Depth from EROS-2
C. Hamadache, L. Le Guillou, P. Tisserand +34
We present a new EROS-2 measurement of the microlensing optical depth toward the Galactic Bulge. Light curves of clump-giant stars distributed over of t…
