Spitzer/MIPS Observations of Stars in the Beta Pictoris Moving Group
L. M. Rebull, K. R. Stapelfeldt, M. W. Werner +7
We present Multiband Imaging Photometer for Spitzer (MIPS) observations at 24 and 70 microns for 30 stars, and at 160 microns for a subset of 12 stars, in the nearby (~30 pc), youn…
The Dust and Gas Around beta Pictoris
C. H. Chen, A. Li, C. Bohac +12
We have obtained Spitzer IRS 5.5 - 35 micron spectroscopy of the debris disk around beta Pictoris. In addition to the 10 micron silicate emission feature originally observed from t…
Mid-infrared spectra of PAH emission in Herbig AeBe stars
G. C. Sloan, L. D. Keller, W. J. Forrest +16
We present spectra of four Herbig AeBe stars obtained with the Infrared Spectrograph (IRS). on the Spitzer Space Telescope. All four of the sources show strong emission from polycy…
The Mid-Infrared Emitting Dust Around AB Aur
C. Chen, M. Jura
Using the Keck I telescope, we have obtained 11.7 micron and 18.7 micron images of the circumstellar dust emission from AB Aur, a Herbig Ae star. We find that AB Aur is probably re…
M-type Vega-like stars
Inseok Song, A. Weinberger, E. Becklin +2
We carried out a search for M-type Vega-like stars by correlating the IRAS Faint Source Catalog with Hipparcos selected M-type stars. Three stars with apparent IRAS 25mu excess emi…
