Multi-sensor fusion for fine-guidance and milliarcsecond-level attitude estimation of balloon-borne telescope
Philippe Voyer, Maya Amit, Steven J. Benton +44
Balloon-borne telescopes rely on fine-guidance systems to achieve milliarcsecond image stability despite residual disturbances from the balloon environment. In these systems, the F…
picoMUX: microcontroller based time-domain multiplexing readout for kilopixel TES arrays
Simon Tartakovsky, Alexandre E. Adler, Jason E. Austermann +23
Advances in cryogenic SQUID-based time-domain multiplexing (TDM) have outpaced their warm readout electronics. Next generation CMB telescopes are baselining kilopixel TES arrays wi…
Sub-Kelvin Cryogenics for a Super-Pressure Balloon-Borne CMB Polarimeter: Taurus
Jared L. May, Alexandre E. Adler, Jason E. Austermann +23
Taurus is a balloon-borne cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiment designed to operate more than 10,000 transition-edge sensor bolometers at a base temperature near 100 mK duri…
Instrument Overview of Taurus: A Balloon-borne CMB and Dust Polarization Experiment
Jared L. May, Alexandre E. Adler, Jason E. Austermann +20
Taurus is a balloon-borne cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiment optimized to map the E-mode polarization and Galactic foregrounds at the largest angular scales ( …
