Gas absorption of soft X-rays strongly impacts the redshift distribution of dark Fast X-ray Transients
Javier Sánchez-Sierras, Peter G. Jonker, Jonathan Quirola-Vásquez +25
The progenitors of many Fast X-ray Transients (FXTs) and those of -ray bursts (GRBs) are strongly linked. Given that "dark" GRBs are typically found to be events suffering from…
Search for the Highest-energy Quasiperiodic Oscillation in the Black Hole X-Ray Binary Candidate Swift J1727.8-1613
Xiang Ma, Qing-Cang Shui, Ming-Yu Ge +8
We report the first detection of a low-frequency quasiperiodic oscillation (QPO) extending above 250 keV in the black hole X-ray binary candidate Swift J1727.8-1613 using Insight-H…
An Insight-HXMT View of the Evolution of the Type-C Quasiperiodic Oscillation during the Flaring State of Swift J1727.8-1613
Min Wei, Xiang Ma, Liang Zhang +16
We present a detailed analysis of the evolution of type-C quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) observed during the flaring state of the recently discovered black hole X-ray binary Swi…
Ground calibration and network of the first CATCH pathfinder
Yiming Huang, Jingyu Xiao, Lian Tao +53
The Chasing All Transients Constellation Hunters (CATCH) space mission is focused on exploring the dynamic universe via X-ray follow-up observations of various transients. The firs…
