Hierarchical Quantum Error Correction with Hypergraph Product Code and Rotated Surface Code
Junichi Haruna, Keisuke Fujii
We propose and analyze a hierarchical quantum error correction (QEC) scheme that concatenates hypergraph product (HGP) codes with rotated surface codes and that is compatible with…
Logical entanglement distribution between distant 2D array qubits
Yuya Maeda, Yasunari Suzuki, Toshiki Kobayashi +3
Sharing logical entangled pairs between distant quantum nodes is a key process to achieve fault tolerant quantum computation and communication. However, there is a gap between curr…
Explicit error bounds with commutator scaling for time-dependent product and multi-product formulas
Kaoru Mizuta, Tatsuhiko N. Ikeda, Keisuke Fujii
Product formula (PF), which approximates the time evolution under a many-body Hamiltonian by the product of local time evolution operators, is one of the central approaches for sim…
Comment on "Multivariable quantum signal processing (M-QSP): prophecies of the two-headed oracle"
Hitomi Mori, Kaoru Mizuta, Keisuke Fujii
Multivariable Quantum Signal Processing (M-QSP) [1] is expected to provide an efficient means to handle polynomial transformations of multiple variables simultaneously. However, we…
