First high-precision direct determination of the atomic mass of a superheavy nuclide
P. Schury, T. Niwase, M. Wada +25
We present the first direct measurement of the atomic mass of a superheavy nuclide. Atoms of Db (=105) were produced online at the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-B…
First observation of the competing fission modes in the neutron-deficient sub-lead region
I. Tsekhanovich, A. N. Andreyev, K. Nishio +12
Fragment mass distributions from fission of excited compound nucleus Pt have been deduced from the measured fragment velocities. The Pt nucleus was created at the J…
Decay Properties of Bh and Db Produced in the Cm + Na Reaction
K. Morita, K. Morimoto, D. Kaji +21
Decay properties of an isotope Bh and its daughter nucleus Db produced by the Cm(Na, 5\textit{n}) reaction were studied by using a gas-filled recoil…
Measurement of parity-nonconserving rotation of neutron spin in the 0.734-eV p-wave resonance of
T. Haseyama, K. Asahi, J. D. Bowman +15
The parity nonconserving spin rotation of neutrons in the 0.734-eV p-wave resonance of was measured with the neutron transmission method. Two optically polarized …
