TCAD + Allpi Simulation study of MALTA2, a Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor for future tracking
L. Li, P. Behera, D. V. Berlea +22
In this work, a hybrid simulation framework combining TCAD and Allpi is presented to investigate the sensor properties of MALTA2, a depleted monolithic active pixel sen…
A Data-Driven Fast Simulation Approach for MAPS-based Detectors and their Optimization
Dumitru Vlad Berlea, Lucian Fasselt, Prafulla Behera +21
A parametric simulation tool for pixel sensors is presented. A realistic pixel response is simulated purely based on measurement input, without requiring detailed knowledge of the…
Charge collection parameterization of MALTA2, a depleted monolithic active pixel sensor
L. Fasselt, P. Behera, D. V. Berlea +22
A fast simulation method is presented for a depleted monolithic active pixel sensor, which uses a data driven parameterization of the charge collection and propagation. This approa…
X-ray Imaging Using a Hybrid Photon Counting GaAs Pixel Detector
C. Schwarz, M. Campbell, R. Goeppert +11
The performance of hybrid GaAs pixel detectors as X-ray imaging sensors were investigated at room temperature. These hybrids consist of 300 mu-m thick GaAs pixel detectors, flip-ch…
