Rank-n logarithmic conformal field theory in the BTZ black hole
Taeyoon Moon, Yun Soo Myung
We construct the rank- finite temperature logarithmic conformal field theory (LCFT) starting from the -coupled scalar field theory in the BTZ black hole background. Its zero…
Rank-3 finite temperature logarithmic conformal field theory
Taeyoon Moon, Yun Soo Myung
We construct a rank-3 finite temperature logarithmic conformal field theory (LCFT) starting from a higher-derivative scalar field model in the BTZ black hole background. Its zero t…
Tricritical gravity waves in the four-dimensional generalized massive gravity
Taeyoon Moon, Yun Soo Myung
We construct a generalized massive gravity by combining quadratic curvature gravity with the Chern-Simons term in four dimensions. This may be a candidate for the parity-odd tricri…
Absorption cross section in Lifshitz black hole
Taeyoon Moon, Yun Soo Myung
We derive the absorption cross section of a minimally coupled scalar in the Lifshitz black hole obtained from the new massive gravity. The absorption cross section reduces to the h…
Quasinormal frequencies and thermodynamic quantities for the Lifshitz black holes
Yun Soo Myung, Taeyoon Moon
We find the connection between thermodynamic quantities and quasinormal frequencies in Lifshitz black holes. It is shown that the globally stable Lifshitz black holes have pure ima…
