Engineering integrated pure narrow-band photon sources
Enrico Pomarico, Bruno Sanguinetti, Clara I. Osorio +2
Engineering and controlling well defined states of light for quantum information applications is of increasing importance as the complexity of quantum systems grows. For example, i…
Experimental amplification of an entangled photon: what if the detection loophole is ignored?
Enrico Pomarico, Bruno Sanguinetti, Pavel Sekatski +2
The experimental verification of quantum features, such as entanglement, at large scales is extremely challenging because of environment-induced decoherence. Indeed, measurement te…
Various quantum nonlocality tests with a simple 2-photon entanglement source
Enrico Pomarico, Jean-Daniel Bancal, Bruno Sanguinetti +2
Nonlocality is a fascinating and counterintuitive aspect of Nature, revealed by the violation of a Bell inequality. The standard and easiest configuration in which Bell inequalitie…
Faithful entanglement swapping based on sum-frequency generation
Nicolas Sangouard, Bruno Sanguinetti, Noe Curtz +3
We show that the entanglement resulting from an entanglement swapping operation performed with spontaneous parametric down-conversion can be made faithful without post-selection us…
