Two-dimensional homography-based correction of positional errors in widefield MRT images
Arvind Nayak, Soobash Daiboo, N. Udaya Shankar
A steradian of the southern sky has been imaged at 151.5 MHz using the Mauritius Radio Telescope (MRT). These images show systematics in positional errors of sources when compared…
A 50 MHz System for GMRT
N. Udaya Shankar, K. S. Dwarakanath, Shahram Amiri +4
This paper describes a 50 MHz system being developed for GMRT to provide imaging capability in the frequency range 30-90MHz. Due to its larger collecting area and higher antenna ef…
Photogrammetric Measurements of a 12-metre Preloaded Parabolic Dish Antenna
N. Udaya Shankar, R. Duraichelvan, C. M. Ateequlla +10
A 12-metre Preloaded Parabolic Dish antenna, in which the backup structure is formed by preloading its radial and circumferential members, has been designed, built and commissioned…
Homography-Based Correction of Positional Errors in MRT Survey
Arvind Nayak, Soobash Daiboo, N. Udaya Shankar
The Mauritius Radio Telescope (MRT) images show systematics in the positional errors of sources when compared to source positions in the Molonglo Reference Catalogue (MRC). We have…
