The evolving SFR-M_star relation and sSFR since z~5 from the VUDS spectroscopic survey
L. A. M. Tasca, O. Le Fevre, N. P. Hathi +44
We study the evolution of the star formation rate (SFR) - stellar mass (M_star) relation and specific star formation rate (sSFR) of star forming galaxies (SFGs) since a redshift z~…
Measuring the Stellar Masses of z~7 Galaxies with Spitzer Ultrafaint Survey Program (SURFS UP)
R. E. Ryan, A. H. Gonzalez B. C. Lemaux, M. Bradac +14
We present Spitzer/IRAC observations of nine -band dropouts highly magnified (2<mu<12) by the Bullet Cluster. We combine archival imaging with our Exploratory program (SURFS UP…
The VIMOS Ultra-Deep Survey (VUDS): fast increase of the fraction of strong Lyman alpha emitters from z=2 to z=6
P. Cassata, L. A. M. Tasca, O. Le Fevre +42
Aims. The aim of this work is to constrain the evolution of the fraction of Lya emitters among UV selected star forming galaxies at 2<z<6, and to measure the stellar escape fractio…
Discovering extremely compact and metal-poor, star-forming dwarf galaxies out to z ~ 0.9 in the VIMOS Ultra-Deep Survey
Ricardo Amorín, V. Sommariva, M. Castellano +42
We report the discovery of 31 low-luminosity (-14.5 > M_{AB}(B) > -18.8), extreme emission line galaxies (EELGs) at 0.2 < z < 0.9 identified by their unusually high rest-frame equi…
