Energy-Efficient Hierarchical Federated Anomaly Detection for the Internet of Underwater Things via Selective Cooperative Aggregation
Kenechi Omeke, Michael Mollel, Lei Zhang +2
Anomaly detection is a core service in the Internet of Underwater Things, yet training accurate distributed models underwater is difficult because acoustic links are low-bandwidth,…
Machine Learning for the Internet of Underwater Things: From Fundamentals to Implementation
Kenechi Omeke, Attai Abubakar, Michael Mollel +3
The Internet of Underwater Things (IoUT) is becoming a critical infrastructure for ocean observation, marine resource management, and climate science. Its development is hindered b…
Towards a Sustainable Internet-of-Underwater-Things based on AUVs, SWIPT, and Reinforcement Learning
Kenechi G. Omeke, Michael Mollel, Syed T. Shah +3
Life on earth depends on healthy oceans, which supply a large percentage of the planet's oxygen, food, and energy. However, the oceans are under threat from climate change, which i…
A Survey on Energy Optimization Techniques in UAV-Based Cellular Networks: From Conventional to Machine Learning Approaches
Attai Ibrahim Abubakar, Iftikhar Ahmad, Kenechi G. Omeke +7
Wireless communication networks have been witnessing an unprecedented demand due to the increasing number of connected devices and emerging bandwidth-hungry applications. Albeit ma…
