Fermi-LAT Observations of the Gamma-ray Burst GRB 130427A
LAT collaboration, GBM collaboration
The observations of the exceptionally bright gamma-ray burst (GRB) 130427A by the Large Area Telescope aboard the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope provide constraints on the nature…
The First Pulse of the Extremely Bright GRB 130427A: A Test Lab for Synchrotron Shocks
R. Preece, J. Michael Burgess, A. von Kienlin +156
Gamma-ray burst (GRB) 130427A is one of the most energetic GRBs ever observed. The initial pulse up to 2.5 s is possibly the brightest well-isolated pulse observed to date. A fine…
Constraints on the Galactic Population of TEV Pulsar Wind Nebulae Using Fermi Large Area Telescope Observations
F. Acero, M. Ackermann, M. Ajello +155
Pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe) have been established as the most populous class of TeV gamma-ray emitters. Since launch, the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT)identified five high-energy…
The First Fermi-LAT Catalog of Sources Above 10 GeV
LAT Collaboration
We present a catalog of gamma-ray sources at energies above 10 GeV based on data from the Large Area Telescope (LAT) accumulated during the first three years of the Fermi Gamma-ray…
