The spatial clustering of X-ray selected AGN in the XMM-COSMOS field
R. Gilli, G. Zamorani, T. Miyaji +70
We study the spatial clustering of 538 X-ray selected AGN in the 2 deg^2 XMM-COSMOS field that are spectroscopically identified to I_{AB}<23 and span the redshift range z=0.2-3.0.…
High redshift quasars in the COSMOS survey: the space density of z>3 X-ray selected QSOs
M. Brusa, A. Comastri, R. Gilli +19
We present a new measurement of the space density of high redshift (3.0<z<4.5), X-ray selected QSOs obtained by exploiting the deep and uniform multiwavelength coverage of the COSM…
Photometric redshift and classification for the XMM-COSMOS sources
M. Salvato, G. Hasinger, O. Ilbert +40
We present photometric redshifts and spectral energy distribution (SED) classifications for a sample of 1542 optically identified sources detected with XMM in the COSMOS field. Our…
A new method to separate star forming from AGN galaxies at intermediate redshift: The submillijansky radio population in the VLA-COSMOS survey
V. Smolcic, E. Schinnerer, M. Scodeggio +21
We explore the properties of the submillijansky radio population at 20 cm by applying a newly developed optical color-based method to separate star forming (SF) from AGN galaxies a…
