Exciton-mediated optical control of liquid-solid friction
Timur Pryadilin, Alexey Kavokin, Baptiste Coquinot
Interfacial friction in nanofluidic systems can arise from fluctuation-induced coupling between liquid charge fluctuations and the internal excitations of the confining solid. Here…
The origin of KPZ-scaling in arrays of polariton condensates
Denis Novokreschenov, Alexey Kavokin
This work investigates the origin of Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) scaling in the phase dynamics of one-dimensional and two-dimensional polariton condensates. We demonstrate that the k…
Collective Excitations and Stability of Nonequilibrium Polariton Supersolids
A. Grudinina, J. Cao, A. Kavokin +2
Formation of nonequilibrium counterparts of supersolids, simultaneously characterized with spontaneous superfluid and crystalline order, was recently reported in incoherently pumpe…
Generating entangled polaritonic condensates by pumping with entangled pairs of photons
N. A. Asriyan, A. A. Elistratov, A. V. Kavokin
We investigate the steady state of two single-mode uniform spatially separated polaritonic conden- sates exposed to resonant pumping with entangled pairs of photons. We demonstrate…
