Autonomous Hamiltonian flows, Hofer's geometry and persistence modules
Leonid Polterovich, Egor Shelukhin
We find robust obstructions to representing a Hamiltonian diffeomorphism as a full -th power, and in particular, to including it into a one-parameter subgroup. The r…
Enlacements asymptotiques revisités
Egor Shelukhin
We give an alternative proof of a theorem of Gambaudo-Ghys and Fathi on the interpretation of the Calabi homomorphism for the standard symplectic disc as an average rotation number…
Proof of the main conjecture on g-areas
François Lalonde, Egor Shelukhin
In this paper, we prove the main conjecture on -areas that was announced by the first author in 2004. It states that the -area of any Hamiltonian diffeomorphism is equal…
The Hofer norm of a contactomorphism
Egor Shelukhin
We show that the -norm of the contact Hamiltonian induces a non-degenerate right-invariant metric on the group of contactomorphisms of any closed contact manifold. This…
On the -geometry of autonomous Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms of surfaces
Michael Brandenbursky, Egor Shelukhin
We prove a number of results on the interrelation between the -metric on the group of Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms of surfaces and the subset of all autonomous Hamiltonian diff…
