Interpolation of Instrument Response Functions for the Cherenkov Telescope Array in the Context of pyirf
Rune Michael Dominik, Maximilian Linhoff, Julian Sitarek
The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) will be the next generation ground-based very-high-energy gamma-ray observatory, constituted by tens of Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes…
Performance update of an event-type based analysis for the Cherenkov Telescope Array
Juan Bernete, Orel Gueta, Tarek Hassan +3
The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) will be the next-generation observatory in the field of very-high-energy (20 GeV to 300 TeV) gamma-ray astroparticle physics. The traditional ap…
Cross-calibration and combined analysis of the CTA-LST prototype and the MAGIC telescopes
Y. Ohtani, A. Berti, D. Depaoli +13
The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) will be the next generation gamma-ray observatory, which will consist of three kinds of telescopes of different sizes. Among those, the Large Si…
First detection of the Crab Nebula at TeV energies with a Cherenkov telescope in a dual-mirror Schwarzschild-Couder configuration: the ASTRI-Horn telescope
S. Lombardi, O. Catalano, S. Scuderi +89
We report on the first detection of very high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray emission from the Crab Nebula by a Cherenkov telescope in dual-mirror Schwarzschild-Couder (SC) configuration.…
Search for tau neutrinos at PeV energies and beyond with the MAGIC telescopes
D. Gora, M. Manganaro, E. Bernardini +5
The MAGIC telescopes, located at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (2200 a.s.l.) in the Canary Island of La Palma, are placed on the top of a mountain, from where a window of…
ASTRI SST-2M prototype and mini-array simulation chain, data reduction software, and archive in the framework of the Cherenkov Telescope Array
S. Lombardi, C. Bigongiari, S. Gallozzi +10
The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) is a worldwide project aimed at building the next-generation ground-based gamma-ray observatory. Within the CTA project, the Italian National In…
