PKS 2005-489 at VHE: Four Years of Monitoring with HESS and Simultaneous Multi-wavelength Observations
The HESS Collaboration, F. Acero
VHE observations of PKS 2005-489 were made with HESS from 2004 through 2007, together with three simultaneous multi-wavelength campaigns performed with XMM-Newton and RXTE in 2004…
Constraints on the multi-TeV particle population in the Coma Galaxy Cluster with H.E.S.S. observations
The HESS Collaboration, F. A. Aharonian
The H.E.S.S. (High Energy Stereoscopic System) telescopes observed Coma for ~8hr in a search for gamma-ray emission at energies >1TeV. The large 3.5deg FWHM field of view of H.E.S.…
Simultaneous multiwavelength observations of the second exceptional gamma-ray flare of PKS 2155-304 in July 2006
HESS Collaboration, F. Aharonian
Simultaneous HESS/CHANDRA/optical observations were performed on the BL Lac object PKS 2155-304 in the night of July 29-30 2006, when the source underwent its second major gamma-ra…
Discovery of very high energy gamma-ray emission from Centaurus A with H.E.S.S
HESS Collaboration, F. Aharonian
We report the discovery of faint very high energy (VHE, E>100 GeV) gamma-ray emission from the radio galaxy Centaurus A in observations performed with the H.E.S.S. experiment, an i…
