New analytical expressions of the Rossiter-McLaughlin effect adapted to different observation techniques
Gwenaël Boué, Marco Montalto, Isabelle Boisse +2
The Rossiter-McLaughlin (hereafter RM) effect is a key tool for measuring the projected spin-orbit angle between stellar spin axes and orbits of transiting planets. However, the me…
SOAP-T: A tool to study the light-curve and radial velocity of a system with a transiting planet and a rotating spotted star
M. Oshagh, I. Boisse, G. Boué +4
We present an improved version of SOAP (Boisse et al. 2012) named "SOAP-T", which can generate the radial velocity variations and light-curves for systems consisting of a rotating…
A new analysis of the WASP-3 system: no evidence for an additional companion
M. Montalto, J. Gregorio, G. Boue' +7
In this work we investigate the problem concerning the presence of additional bodies gravitationally bounded with the WASP-3 system. We present eight new transits of this planet an…
Degeneracy in the characterization of non-transiting planets from transit timing variations
Gwenaël Boué, Mahmoudreza Oshagh, Marco Montalto +1
The transit timing variation (TTV) method allows the detection of non-transiting planets through their gravitational perturbations. Since TTVs are strongly enhanced in systems clos…
