Measurement of the doubly Cabibbo suppressed decay $D^{0} \to K^{+} π^{-}$ and a search for charm mixing

FOCUS Collaboration, J. M. Link

We present an analysis of the decay $D^{0} \to K^{+} π^{-}$ based on FOCUS data. From a sample of 234 signal events, we find a branching ratio of $\frac{Γ(D^0 \to K^+π^-)}{Γ(D^0 \to K^-π^…

Study of the decay mode D^0 -> K-K+pi-pi+

the FOCUS Collaboration, J. Link

Using data from the FOCUS (E831) experiment at Fermilab, we present a new measurement of the branching ratio for the Cabibbo-favored decay mode $D^{0} \to K^{-} K^{+} π^{-} π^{+}$ . From a sampl…

Analysis of the semileptonic decay $D^{0} \to K ˉ^{0} π^{-} μ^{+} ν$

the FOCUS Collaboration, J. M. Link

Using data collected by the fixed target Fermilab experiment FOCUS, we present several first measurements for the semileptonic decay $D^{0} \to K ˉ^{0} π^{-} μ^{+} ν$ . Using a model that…

Measurements of Six-Body Hadronic Decays of the D^0 Charmed Meson

FOCUS Collaboration

Using data collected by the FOCUS experiment at Fermilab, we report the discovery of the decay modes D^0 --> K- pi+ pi+ pi+ pi- pi- and D^0 --> pi+ pi+ pi+ pi- pi- pi-. With a samp…

Measurement of Masses and Widths of Excited Charm Mesons $D_{2}^{*}$ and Evidence for Broad States

J. M. Link

Using data from the FOCUS experiment we analyze the $D^{+} π^{-}$ and $D^{0} π^{+}$ invariant mass distributions. We measure the $D_{2}^{* 0}$ mass $M_{D_2^{*0}} = (2464.5 \pm 1.1 \pm 1.9) \mev…
