Protomon: A Multimode Qubit in the Fluxonium Molecule
Shashwat Kumar, Xinyuan You, Xanthe Croot +7
Qubits that are intrinsically insensitive to depolarization and dephasing errors promise to significantly reduce the overhead of fault-tolerant quantum computing. At their optimal…
Co-Designed Superconducting Architecture for Lattice Surgery of Surface Codes with Quantum Interface Routing Card
Charles Guinn, Samuel Stein, Esin Tureci +5
Facilitating the ability to achieve logical qubit error rates below physical qubit error rates, error correction is anticipated to play an important role in scaling quantum compute…
Experimental advances with the QICK (Quantum Instrumentation Control Kit) for superconducting quantum hardware
Chunyang Ding, Martin Di Federico, Michael Hatridge +14
The QICK is a standalone open source qubit controller that was first introduced in 2022. In this follow-up work, we present recent experimental use cases that the QICK uniquely ena…
Tunable inductive coupler for high fidelity gates between fluxonium qubits
Helin Zhang, Chunyang Ding, D. K. Weiss +9
The fluxonium qubit is a promising candidate for quantum computation due to its long coherence times and large anharmonicity. We present a tunable coupler that realizes strong indu…
