Weak Scale Triggers in the SMEFT
Pier Giuseppe Catinari, Raffaele Tito D'Agnolo, Pablo Sesma
There are no weak scale triggers in the SMEFT up to dimension six that can solve the hierarchy problem far above the weak scale. Our arguments can be used to show that the same is…
The Two Scales of New Physics in Loop-Induced Higgs Couplings
Florian Nortier, Gabriele Rigo, Pablo Sesma
Probing new physics through precise measurements of Higgs boson couplings is a central objective of the particle collider program at the high-energy frontier. An anomaly in Higgs c…
A Cosmological Solution to the Doublet-Triplet Splitting Problem
Csaba Csaki, Raffaele Tito D'Agnolo, Eric Kuflik +1
We propose a model that provides a simultaneous solution to the doublet-triplet splitting problem of grand unified theories, the electroweak hierarchy problem and the strong CP pro…
A functional treatment of small instanton-induced axion potentials
Pablo Sesma
We present a functional method to perform complete one-instanton calculations of the axion potential. This is done for an gauge theory with a matter content in any represen…
The Two Scales of New Physics in Higgs Couplings
Raffaele Tito D'Agnolo, Florian Nortier, Gabriele Rigo +1
Higgs coupling deviations from Standard Model predictions contain information about two scales of Nature: that of new physics responsible for the deviation, and the scale where new…
