Detecting Ultralight Dark Matter with Matter Effect
Xucheng Gan, Da Liu, Di Liu +2
Ultralight particles, with a mass below the electronvolt scale, exhibit wave-like behavior and have arisen as a compelling dark matter candidate. A particularly intriguing subclass…
Probing Long-Range Forces Between Neutrinos with Cosmic Structures
David E. Kaplan, Xuheng Luo, Surjeet Rajendran
We study the consequences of new long-range forces between neutrinos on cosmic scales. If these forces are a few orders of magnitude stronger than gravity, they can induce perturba…
Constraints on the Sharpness of the Curvature Power Spectrum
Keisuke Inomata, Xuheng Luo
Motivated by the fact that a sharply peaked curvature spectrum is often considered in the literature, we examine theoretical constraints on the sharpness of such a spectrum. In par…
Indirect Searches for Ultraheavy Dark Matter in the Time Domain
David E. Kaplan, Xuheng Luo, Ngan H. Nguyen +2
Dark matter may exist today in the form of ultraheavy composite bound states. Collisions between such dark matter states can release intense bursts of radiation that includes gamma…
Cosmic Birefringence from CP-Violating Axion Interactions
Xuheng Luo, Anubhav Mathur
We explore the cosmic birefringence signal produced by an ultralight axion field with a small CP-violating coupling to bulk SM matter in addition to the usual CP-preserving photon…
