Lindblad engineering for quantum Gibbs state preparation under the eigenstate thermalization hypothesis
Eric Brunner, Luuk Coopmans, Gabriel Matos +3
Building upon recent progress in Lindblad engineering for quantum Gibbs state preparation algorithms, we propose a simplified protocol that is shown to be efficient under the eigen…
Machine-learning certification of multipartite entanglement for noisy quantum hardware
Andreas J. C. Fuchs, Eric Brunner, Jiheon Seong +5
Entanglement is a fundamental aspect of quantum physics, both conceptually and for its many applications. Classifying an arbitrary multipartite state as entangled or separable -- a…
Data-driven approach to mixed-state multipartite entanglement characterisation
Eric Brunner, Aaron Xie, Gabriel Dufour +1
We develop a statistical framework, based on a manifold learning embedding, to extract relevant features of multipartite entanglement structures of mixed quantum states from the me…
Quantum state preparation for multivariate functions
Matthias Rosenkranz, Eric Brunner, Gabriel Marin-Sanchez +5
A fundamental step of any quantum algorithm is the preparation of qubit registers in a suitable initial state. Often qubit registers represent a discretization of continuous variab…
