Global impact of emerging internetwork fields on the low solar atmosphere
Milan Gošić, Bart De Pontieu, Alberto Sainz Dalda
Small-scale, newly emerging internetwork (IN) magnetic fields are considered a viable source of energy and mass for the solar chromosphere and possibly the corona. Multiple studies…
The Solar Internetwork. II. Magnetic Flux Appearance and Disappearance Rates
Milan Gošić, Luis R. Bellot Rubio, Jose Carlos Del Toro Iniesta +2
Small-scale internetwork magnetic fields are important ingredients of the quiet Sun. In this paper we analyze how they appear and disappear on the solar surface. Using high resolut…
Pair separation of magnetic elements in the quiet Sun
F. Giannattasio, F. Berrilli, L. Biferale +5
The dynamic properties of the quiet Sun photosphere can be investigated by analyzing the pair dispersion of small-scale magnetic fields (i.e., magnetic elements). By using hr-…
Diffusion of solar magnetic elements up to supergranular spatial and temporal scales
F. Giannattasio, D. Del Moro, F. Berrilli +3
The study of spatial and temporal scales on which small magnetic structures (magnetic elements) are organized in the quiet Sun may be approached by determining how they are transpo…
