First Very Long Baseline Interferometry Fringe Detection at 690GHz
Ming-Tang Chen, Geoffrey B. Crew, Dan Bintley +42
We report the first very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) experiment conducted in the 690 GHz atmospheric window. On 2024 November 21, observations with the Atacama Large Millim…
Concept integral field unit spectrometer instrument for the next-generation mm-wave cosmological surveys
Attila Kovács, Garrett K. Keating, Thomas R. Greve +1
Past millimeter-wave galaxy surveys have primarily probed the brightest starburst galaxies only and suffered heavily from confusion. The interpretation of existing surveys has also…
First Very Long Baseline Interferometry Detections at 870μm
Alexander W. Raymond, Sheperd S. Doeleman, Keiichi Asada +276
The first very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) detections at 870m wavelength (345GHz frequency) are reported, achieving the highest diffraction-limited angular resolutio…
Absolute Flux Density Calibration of the Greenland Telescope Data for Event Horizon Telescope Observations
J. Y. Koay, K. Asada, S. Matsushita +35
Starting from the observing campaign in April 2018, the Greenland Telescope (GLT) has been added as a new station of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) array. Visibilities on baseli…
