Discovery of a Strong-lens Galaxy Pair with the Smallest Projected Separation
Zizhao He, Limeng Deng, Qihang Chen +3
We present the spectroscopic confirmation and lens modeling of HSC~J02330205, a strong-lensing system produced by a close pair of elliptical galaxies at that…
Confirming lensed-quasar candidates with DESI and P200 spectroscopy I. 14 lensed quasars and 8 lensed galaxies
Zizhao He, Qihang Chen, Xiaosheng Huang +3
Lensed quasars are powerful probes of cosmology, the co-evolution of supermassive black holes and their host galaxies, and the distribution of dark matter. We cross-match 1,724 pre…
Discovery of 19 strongly-lensed quasars, dual and projected quasars in DESI-LS
Zizhao He, Qihang Chen, Limeng Deng +5
We report the follow-up spectroscopic confirmation of two lensed quasars, six dual quasars, and eleven projected quasars that were previously identified as lensed-quasar candidates…
Using Convolutional Neural Networks to Search for Strongly Lensed Quasars in KiDS DR5
Zizhao He, Rui Li, Yiping Shu +13
Gravitationally strongly lensed quasars (SL-QSO) offer invaluable insights into cosmological and astrophysical phenomena. With the data from ongoing and next-generation surveys, th…
