Multi4D: High-Fidelity Dynamic Gaussian Splatting via Multi-Level Competitive Allocation
Rui Wang, Quentin Lohmeyer, Siyu Tang +1
Dynamic 3D Gaussian splatting faces a fundamental tension between motion consistency and visual fidelity. Deformation-based approaches preserve temporal correspondence but suffer f…
DeGauss: Dynamic-Static Decomposition with Gaussian Splatting for Distractor-free 3D Reconstruction
Rui Wang, Quentin Lohmeyer, Mirko Meboldt +1
Reconstructing clean, distractor-free 3D scenes from real-world captures remains a significant challenge, particularly in highly dynamic and cluttered settings such as egocentric v…
Automatized Self-Supervised Learning for Skin Lesion Screening
Vullnet Useini, Stephanie Tanadini-Lang, Quentin Lohmeyer +4
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, has seen a steady increase in incidence rates worldwide, posing a significant challenge to dermatologists. Early detection is crucial f…
POV-Surgery: A Dataset for Egocentric Hand and Tool Pose Estimation During Surgical Activities
Rui Wang, Sophokles Ktistakis, Siwei Zhang +2
The surgical usage of Mixed Reality (MR) has received growing attention in areas such as surgical navigation systems, skill assessment, and robot-assisted surgeries. For such appli…
