Comparative analysis of missing data imputation methods for CSST survey: Impact on photometric redshift estimation performance
Ling Wang, Zhu Chen, Zhijian Luo +42
Improving the accuracy of photometric redshifts (photo-) is essential for reliable statistical studies of cosmology and galaxy evolution. However, missing photometric bands are…
Exploring the formation mechanisms of tidal structures in globular clusters of extragalactic origin
Shouzhi Wang, Jundan Nie, Biwei Jiang +3
Tidal structures around globular clusters provide valuable insights into cluster evolution and the hierarchical assembly of the Milky Way. Using wide-field imaging data from the DE…
Identification of a dwarf galaxy stream in Gaia, and its possible association with the VPOS structure
Hao Tian, Chao Liu, Xiang-Xiang Xue +6
Low surface density streams are important tracers to study the formation and evolution of the Milky Way. Using the accurate astrometric measurements from Gaia mission, we discover…
Assessing the Association between the Globular Cluster NGC 4147 and the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy
YingHua Zhang, Jundan Nie, Hao Tian +1
The potential association of the globular cluster (GC) NGC 4147 with the Sagittarius (Sgr) dwarf spheroidal galaxy has been proposed due to their comparable locations and radial ve…
