The COSMIC WISPers White Paper: The physics case for Weakly Interacting Slim Particles
Ariel Arza, Deniz Aybas, Shyam Balaji +124
Axions and other very weakly interacting slim particles (WISPs), with masses below 1 GeV, arise naturally in many extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics. In particula…
The International Axion Observatory (IAXO): case, status and plans. Input to the European Strategy for Particle Physics
A. Arcusa, S. Ahyoune, K. Altenmuller +120
The International Axion Observatory (IAXO) is a next-generation axion helioscope designed to search for solar axions with unprecedented sensitivity. IAXO holds a unique position in…
Solar chameleons: Novel channels
Tomás O'Shea, Anne-Christine Davis, Maurizio Giannotti +3
We revisit the flux of chameleons (light scalar particles which could play a role in the dark energy phenomenon) produced in the interior of the Sun. Our novel analysis incorporate…
Prospects on the Detection of Solar Dark Photons by the International Axion Observatory
T. O'Shea, M. Giannotti, I. G. Irastorza +4
Dark (hidden) photons are widely recognised as well motivated candidates for physics beyond the standard model, and have been invoked for the solution of several outstanding proble…
