The Mini-SiTian Array: Evaluation Camera System
Yu Zhang, Lin Du, Yi Hu +7
The Mini-SiTian project, which is the pathfinder for the SiTian project, utilizes three 30 cm telescopes equipped with commercial CMOS cameras (ZWO ASI6200MM Pro) to simulate large…
The Mini-SiTian Array: Imaging Processing Pipeline
Kai Xiao, Zhirui Li, Yang Huang +19
As a pathfinder of the SiTian project, the Mini-SiTian (MST) array, employed three commercial CMOS cameras, represents a next-generation, cost-effective optical time-domain survey…
The Mini-SiTian Array: first-two-year operation
Min He, Hong Wu, Liang Ge +70
The SiTian project, designed to utilize 60 telescopes distributed across multiple sites in China, is a next-generation time-domain survey initiative. As a pathfinder for the SiTian…
StarWhisper Telescope: An AI framework for automating end-to-end astronomical observations
Cunshi Wang, Yu Zhang, Yuyang Li +25
The exponential growth of large-scale telescope arrays has boosted time-domain astronomy development but introduced operational bottlenecks, including labor-intensive observation p…
Astronomical Test with CMOS on the 60-cm Telescope at the Xinglong Observatory, NAOC
Hai-Yang Mu, Zhou Fan, Yi-Nan Zhu +2
This work shows details of an evaluation of an observational system comprising a CMOS detector, 60-cm telescope, and filter complement. The system's photometric precision and diffe…
