High-performance Sources of Multidimensionally Engineered Quantum Light Based on Monolithic Microcavity-metalens Interfaces
Jiantao Ma, Dong Liu, Shunfa Liu +15
The ultimate non-classic light sources for modern photonic quantum technology require on-demand generation of indistinguishable quantum light with high brightness and flexible engi…
In-situ three-dimensional strain engineering of solid-state quantum emitters in photonic structures towards scalable quantum networks
Yan Chen, Xueshi Li, Shunfa Liu +11
Solid-state quantum emitters are pivotal for modern photonic quantum technology, yet their inherent spectral inhomogeneity imposes a critical challenge in pursuing scalable quantum…
Tunable quantum dots in monolithic Fabry-Perot microcavities for high-performance single-photon sources
Jiawei Yang, Yan Chen, Zixuan Rao +9
Cavity-enhanced single quantum dots (QDs) are the main approach towards ultra-high-performance solid-state quantum light sources for scalable photonic quantum technologies. Neverth…
Ultra-low threshold continuous-wave quantum dot mini-BIC lasers
Hancheng Zhong, Jiawei Yang, Zhengqing Ding +5
Highly compact lasers with ultra-low threshold and single-mode continuous wave (CW) operation have been a long sought-after component for photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Photo…
