Evidence of star cluster migration and merger in dwarf galaxies
Mélina Poulain, Rory Smith, Pierre-Alain Duc +8
Nuclear star clusters (NSCs) are the densest stellar systems in the Universe. They can be found at the center of all galaxy types, but tend to favor galaxies of intermediate stella…
UNIONS: The Ultraviolet Near-Infrared Optical Northern Survey
Stephen Gwyn, Alan W. McConnachie, Jean-Charles Cuillandre +86
The Ultraviolet Near-Infrared Optical Northern Survey (UNIONS) is a "collaboration of collaborations" that is using the Canada-France-Hawai'i Telescope, the Pan-STARRS telescopes,…
Euclid: Early Release Observations -- Interplay between dwarf galaxies and their globular clusters in the Perseus galaxy cluster
T. Saifollahi, A. Lançon, Michele Cantiello +183
We present an analysis of globular clusters (GCs) of dwarf galaxies in the Perseus galaxy cluster to explore the relationship between dwarf galaxy properties and their GCs. Our foc…
A Pristine-UNIONS view on the Galaxy: Kinematics of the distant spur feature of the Sagittarius stream traced by Blue Horizontal Branch stars
M. Bayer, E. Starkenburg, G. F. Thomas +14
Providing a detailed picture of the Sagittarius (Sgr) stream offers important constraints on the build-up of the Galactic halo as well as its gravitational potential at large radii…
