A comprehensive search for Long and Short Periodic Features from an Extremely Active Cycle of FRB 20240114A
Dengke Zhou, Pei Wang, Jianhua Fang +56
Possible periodic features in fast radio bursts (FRBs) may provide insights into their astrophysical origins. Using extensive observations from the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Sphe…
Prospects for Time-Domain and Multi-Messenger Science with eXTP
Shu-Xu Yi, Wen Zhao, Ren-Xin Xu +75
In this new era of time-domain and multi-messenger astronomy, various new transients and new phenomena are constantly being discovered thanks to the rapid advances in observations,…
GRB Timing: Decoding the Hidden Slow Jets in GRB 060729
Jin-Jun Geng, Ding-Fang Hu, Hao-Xuan Gao +16
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are luminous stellar explosions characterized by the ejection of relativistic jets. This work proposes a novel paradigm to study these GRB jets. By analyzin…
Extreme superluminal expansion traces an ultra-narrow GRB jet across relativistic regimes
Jin-Jun Geng, Ying-Kang Zhang, Hao-Xuan Gao +20
The long-term evolution of gamma-ray burst (GRB) jets from ultra-relativistic launch to a slowly expanding radio source remains a fundamental problem in high-energy astrophysics, r…
