Mitigating errors in state preparation and measurement with noncomputational states
Conrad J. Haupt, Almudena Carrera Vazquez, Laurin E. Fischer +2
Error mitigation has enabled quantum computing applications with over one hundred qubits and deep circuits. Many error mitigation methods are noise-aware, relying on a faithful cha…
Approximate Quantum Fourier Transform in Logarithmic Depth on a Line
Elisa Bäumer, David Sutter, Stefan Woerner
The approximate quantum Fourier transform (AQFT) on qubits can be implemented in logarithmic depth using qubits with all-to-all connectivity, as shown in [Hales, PhD Thesi…
Quantum Optimization Benchmarking Library - The Intractable Decathlon
Thorsten Koch, David E. Bernal Neira, Ying Chen +24
Through recent progress in hardware development, quantum computers have advanced to the point where benchmarking of (heuristic) quantum algorithms at scale is within reach. Particu…
Quantum Approximate Multi-Objective Optimization
Ayse Kotil, Elijah Pelofske, Stephanie Riedmüller +4
The goal of multi-objective optimization is to understand optimal trade-offs between competing objective functions by finding the Pareto front, i.e., the set of all Pareto optimal…
