A Practical Approach to Generating First-Order Rician Channel Statistics in a RC plus CATR Chamber at mmWave
Alejandro Antón Ruiz, Samar Hosseinzadegan, John Kvarnstrand +2
This paper explores a novel hybrid configuration integrating a Reverberation Chamber (RC) with a Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) to achieve a controllable Rician K-factor. The fo…
Total Radiated Power Measurements of a mmWave Phased Array in a Reverberation Chamber
Alejandro Antón Ruiz, Samar Hosseinzadegan, John Kvarnstrand +2
This paper explores the use of reverberation chambers for TRP measurements of beamformed radiation by phased arrays at mmWave frequencies. First, the received power was verified by…
K-factor Evaluation in a Hybrid Reverberation Chamber plus CATR OTA Testing Setup
Alejandro Antón Ruiz, Samar Hosseinzadegan, John Kvarnstrand +2
This paper investigates achieving diverse K-factors using a Reverberation Chamber (RC) with a Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) system. It explores six hybrid "RC plus CATR" config…
Constrained FoV Radiated Power as a Figure of Merit of Phased Arrays
Alejandro Antón Ruiz, Samar Hosseinzadegan, John Kvarnstrand +2
In this paper, we propose quantifying the radiated power of phased arrays or, in general, directive antennas, by the Constrained-View Radiated Power (CVRP). The constrained view sh…
