Increasing the sensitivity of the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope by using external strings of optical modules
V. A. Allakhverdyan, A. D. Avrorin, A. V. Avrorin +54
The deployment of the Baikal-GVD deep underwater neutrino telescope is continuing in Lake Baikal. By April 2022, ten clusters of the telescope were put into operation, with 2880 op…
Diffuse neutrino flux measurements with the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope
Baikal Collaboration, V. A. Allakhverdyan, A. D. Avrorin +55
We report on the first observation of the diffuse cosmic neutrino flux with the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope. Using cascade-like events collected by Baikal-GVD in 2018--2021, a si…
High-energy neutrino-induced cascade from the direction of the flaring radio blazar TXS 0506+056 observed by Baikal-GVD in 2021
GVD Collaboration, A. K. Erkenov, N. A. Kosogorov +8
The existence of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos has been unambiguously demonstrated, but their sources remain elusive. IceCube reported an association of a 290-TeV neutrino wi…
High-Energy and Ultra-High-Energy Neutrinos
Markus Ackermann, Sanjib K. Agarwalla, Jaime Alvarez-Muñiz +43
Astrophysical neutrinos are excellent probes of astroparticle physics and high-energy physics. With energies far beyond solar, supernovae, atmospheric, and accelerator neutrinos, h…
