Ringdown of a black hole sourced by a Burkert-density effective anisotropic source
Yi Yang, Gaetano Lambiase, Ali Ovgun +2
We construct a static, spherically symmetric black hole spacetime sourced by an effective anisotropic matter distribution whose energy density follows the cored Burkert profile. Th…
Quasinormal Modes of Schwarzschild Black Holes in the Dehnen-(1, 4, 5/2) Type Dark Matter Halos
Qi-Qi Liang, Dong Liu, Zheng-Wen Long
The Dehnen - type dark matter density distribution model is mainly used for dwarf galaxies. In recent years, researchers have speculated that black holes may exist in this dark mat…
Quasinormal Modes and Greybody Factors of Scalar Field Perturbations in the NED Corrected Charged Black Hole Spacetime
Jie Liang, Dong Liu, Zheng-Wen Long
Inspired by the quark-antiquark confinement potential, Mazharimousavi et al. \cite{Mazharimousavi:2023okd} proposed a nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) model, and based on this model…
Testing black holes in a perfect fluid dark matter environment using quasinormal modes
Qun Tan, Dong Liu, Jie Liang +1
This research explores the quasinormal modes (QNMs) characteristics of charged black holes in a perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM) environment. Based on the Event Horizon Telescope (…
