Lightweight Soft X-ray Imager (LSXI) with glass-based coded mask
Dali Zhang, Chao Zheng, Lu Wang +23
The coded mask technique has been widely used in X-ray and Gamma-ray imagers, especially in space astronomy. However, the traditional design of coded mask imagers usually has probl…
In-flight calibration of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope on board the Einstein Probe
Huaqing Cheng, Hai-Wu Pan, Yuan Liu +14
By utilizing novel lobster-eye optics, the Wide-field X-ray Telescope (WXT) onboard the Einstein Probe (EP) satellite achieves an unprecedented combination of a large instantaneous…
In-flight calibration of the Lobster Eye Imager for Astronomy
Huaqing Cheng, Hai-Wu Pan, Yuan Liu +12
The Lobster Eye Imager for Astronomy (LEIA), as a pathfinder of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope (WXT) onboard the Einstein Probe (EP) satellite, is the first lobster-eye focusing X-…
Ground Calibration Result of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope (WXT) onboard the Einstein Probe
Huaqing Cheng, Chen Zhang, Zhixing Ling +24
We report on results of the on-ground X-ray calibration of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope (WXT) built from novel lobster-eye micro-pore optics, onboard the Einstein Probe (EP) sate…
