Spinning extremal dyonic black holes in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory
Jose Luis Blázquez-Salcedo, Carlos Herdeiro, Eugen Radu +2
We propose a general framework for the study of asymptotically flat spinning dyonic {\it extremal} black holes (eBHs) in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory. Restricting to the s…
Charged, rotating black holes in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory
Carlos Herdeiro, Eugen Radu, Etevaldo dos Santos Costa Filho
The asymptotically flat, electrically charged, rotating black holes (BHs) in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton (EMd) theory are known in closed form for \textit{only} two particular values…
Stability and collisions of excited spherical boson stars: glimpses of chains and rings
Marco Brito, Carlos Herdeiro, Eugen Radu +2
Scalar, spherically symmetric, radially excited boson stars were previously shown to be stabilized, against spherical dynamics, by sufficiently strong self-interactions. Here, we f…
Eccentric mergers of binary Proca stars
Gabriele Palloni, Nicolas Sanchis-Gual, José A. Font +2
We present a numerical relativity study of eccentric mergers of equal-mass rotating Proca stars, focusing on their gravitational-wave (GW) emission. By systematically va…
