Real-Time Capable, Low-latency Upstream Scheduling in Multi-Tenant, SLA Compliant TWDM PON
Arijeet Ganguli, Marco Ruffini
Virtualized Passive Optical Networks (vPONs) offer a promising solution for modern access networks, bringing enhanced flexibility, reduced capital expenditures (CapEx), and support…

Low-Latency Upstream Scheduling in Multi-Tenant, SLA Compliant TWDM PON
Arijeet Ganguli, Marco Ruffini
We present a multi-tenant multi-wavelength upstream transmission scheme for virtualised PONs, enabling compliance with latency-oriented Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Our analysi…

Real-time, low latency virtual DBA hypervisor for SLA-compliant multi-service operations over shared Passive Optical Networks
Arijeet Ganguli, Frank Slyne, Marco Ruffini
We present a heuristic algorithm for a PON upstream scheduling hypervisor, supporting low latency services with strict service-level agreement. The algorithm achieves near-optimal p…
