A Spatially Resolved Evolutionary Sequence of Multi-wavelength AGN Host Galaxies
Gaoxiang Jin, Guinevere Kauffmann, Y. Sophia Dai +2
We study the spatially resolved star formation, gas ionisation, and outflow properties of 1813 active galactic nuclei (AGNs) from the MaNGA survey, which we classify into infrared…
The origin of double-peaked narrow emission-line galaxies in MaNGA Survey
Zhiyun Zhang, Yanmei Chen, Shiyin Shen +5
We select 36 double-peaked narrow emission-line galaxies (DPGs) from 10,010 unique galaxies in MaNGA survey. These DPGs show double-peaked Balmer lines and forbidden lines in the s…
QSO MUSEUM III: the circumgalactic medium in Ly emission around 120 quasars covering the SDSS parameter space. Witnessing the instantaneous AGN feedback on halo scales
Jay González Lobos, Fabrizio Arrigoni Battaia, Aura Obreja +3
Recent surveys show that quasars are surrounded by Hydrogen Lyman- (Ly) glows with diverse emission levels and extents. These seem to depend on the activity of embedded…
Misaligned external gas acquisition boosts central black hole activities
Yuren Zhou, Yanmei Chen, Yong Shi +6
One important question in active galactic nucleus (AGN) is how gas is brought down to the galaxy center. Both internal secular evolution (torque induced by non-axisymmetric galacti…
