Euclid preparation. Simulating thousands of Euclid spectroscopic skies
Euclid Collaboration, P. Monaco, G. Parimbelli +303
We present two extensive sets of 3500+1000 simulations of dark matter haloes on the past light cone, and two corresponding sets of simulated (`mock') galaxy catalogues that represe…
A merging pair of massive quiescent galaxies at in the Cosmic Vine
K. Ito, F. Valentino, M. Farcy +26
We report the spectroscopic confirmation of a merging pair of massive quiescent galaxies at . Using JWST observations, we confirm that the two galaxies lie at a projected s…
Gas outflows in two recently quenched galaxies at z = 4 and 7
F. Valentino, K. E. Heintz, G. Brammer +33
Outflows are a key element in the baryon cycle of galaxies, and their properties provide a fundamental test for our models of how star formation quenches in galaxies. Here we repor…
Euclid preparation. 3-dimensional galaxy clustering in configuration space. Part I. 2-point correlation function estimation
Euclid Collaboration, S. de la Torre, F. Marulli +297
The 2-point correlation function of the galaxy spatial distribution is a major cosmological observable that enables constraints on the dynamics and geometry of the Universe. The Eu…
