Coherent dynamics in chaotic spin chains via interference-protected subspaces
Aron Kerschbaumer, Jean-Yves Desaules, Maksym Serbyn
Generic quantum many-body systems are expected to thermalize, scrambling initial coherence while local observables relax to equilibrium values. Weak ergodicity breaking, often asso…
Systematic construction of quantum many-body scars in frustrated Rydberg arrays
Jean-Yves Desaules, Aron Kerschbaumer, Marko Ljubotina +1
Quantum many-body scars in Rydberg atom arrays have thus far only been observed on bipartite lattices, leaving open the question of whether and how they survive frustration, and wh…
Quasi-solitons in Rydberg atom chains
Aron Kerschbaumer, Jean-Yves Desaules, Marko Ljubotina +1
Solitons - localized wave packets that travel without spreading - play a central role in understanding transport and properties of nonlinear systems. In quantum many-body systems,…
Quantum Many-Body Scars beyond the PXP model in Rydberg simulators
Aron Kerschbaumer, Marko Ljubotina, Maksym Serbyn +1
Persistent revivals recently observed in Rydberg atom simulators have challenged our understanding of thermalization and attracted much interest to the concept of quantum many-body…
