Can Xu, Mingfeng Yuan, Mahan Mohammadi +1
Autonomous robots operating over long periods must keep their environmental memory up to date as the world changes between visits. In semi-static environments, an object may be rep…
CSIR: Contextually and Socially Informed Robots for Efficient Person Goal Navigation
Tyler Chung, Nahl Farhan, Hao Zhang +4
We address the Person Goal Navigation (PersonNav) problem, enabling robots to search for people under realistic constraints on information accessibility and language uncertainty. T…
STaR: Scalable Task-Conditioned Retrieval for Long-Horizon Multimodal Robot Memory
Mingfeng Yuan, Hao Zhang, Mahan Mohammadi +3
Mobile robots are often deployed over long durations in diverse open, dynamic scenes, including indoor setting such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities, and outdoor settings…
OpenNav: Open-World Navigation with Multimodal Large Language Models
Mingfeng Yuan, Letian Wang, Steven L. Waslander
Pre-trained large language models (LLMs) have demonstrated strong common-sense reasoning abilities, making them promising for robotic navigation and planning tasks. However, despit…
