Learning-Based Collaborative MEC for LLM Inference with Soft-Deadline Awareness via Transformer-Enhanced PPO
Ngoc Hung Nguyen, Bjorn Landfeldt
This paper investigates collaborative mobile edge computing (MEC) servers for large language model (LLM) inference under soft deadline constraints. In this system, to improve the q…
Multi-Timescale Latent-Action DRL for Joint Optimization in Edge-Cloud Networks
Vo Phi Son, Van-Dinh Nguyen, Ngoc Hung Nguyen +2
Load imbalance across edge and cloud layers degrades latency performance in hierarchical edge-cloud computing (HECC) systems under dynamic task arrivals and heterogeneous resources…
Deadline-Aware Joint Task Scheduling and Offloading in Mobile Edge Computing Systems
Ngoc Hung Nguyen, Van-Dinh Nguyen, Anh Tuan Nguyen +3
The demand for stringent interactive quality-of-service has intensified in both mobile edge computing (MEC) and cloud systems, driven by the imperative to improve user experiences.…
Oranits: Mission Assignment and Task Offloading in Open RAN-based ITS using Metaheuristic and Deep Reinforcement Learning
Ngoc Hung Nguyen, Nguyen Van Thieu, Quang-Trung Luu +5
In this paper, we explore mission assignment and task offloading in an Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN)-based intelligent transportation system (ITS), where autonomous vehicles…
