Single-electron detection in a high-purity Ge device
Antoine Armatol, Corinne Augier, Laurent Bergé +69
High-purity germanium (HPGe) detectors are among the most powerful instruments for gamma ray spectroscopy, combining exceptional energy resolution with large active volumes. Althou…
Characterization of Aluminum Microwave SQUID Multiplexers for CENS Detection
James Amidei, Antoine Armatol, Corinne Augier +92
We present the design, fabrication, and characterization of an aluminum-based six-channel microwave SQUID multiplexer (MUX) prototype for transition-edge sensor (TES) readout in…
Low Energy Phonon Bursts Created By Fast Neutron Damage
A. Armatol, C. Augier, L. Bergé +67
Solid state athermal phonon calorimeters used in the search for low mass dark matter or coherent neutrino-nucleus interactions have long observed a large excess of events below sev…
Characterization of the phonon sensor of the CRYOSEL detector with IR photons
Hugues Lattaud, Elsa Guy, Julien Billard +6
The sensitivities of light Dark Matter (DM) particle searches with cryogenic detectors are mostly limited by large backgrounds of events that do not produce ionization signal. The…
