Can Blue UV-Bright Galaxies Drive Reionization at Cosmic Dawn? An Galaxy with at
Yunjing Wu, Sijia Cai, Yongda Zhu +28
We revisit EBG-1, a gravitationally lensed galaxy at , using newly obtained deep (14 hr) JWST/NIRSpec G235M () spectroscopy. EBG-1 is one of the bluest gala…
(LRDs): The Low-ReDshift Little Red Dots Survey. II. DESI DR1 Sample
Xiaojing Lin, Xiaohui Fan, Zheng Cai +12
JWST has revealed a substantial population of "Little Red Dots" (LRDs) at , challenging conventional AGN frameworks. However, the low-redshift regime remains largely unexplore…
Discovery of a Pair of Galaxies with Both Hosting X-ray Binary Candidates at
Sijia Cai, Zheng Cai, Jianwei Lyu +6
Among high-redshift galaxies, aside from active galactic nuclei (AGNs), X-ray binaries (XRBs) can be significant sources of X-ray emission. XRBs play a crucial role in galaxy evolu…
The Discovery of Little Red Dots in the Local Universe: Signatures of Cool Gas Envelopes
Xiaojing Lin, Xiaohui Fan, Zheng Cai +25
JWST observations have revealed a population of high-redshift "little red dots" (LRDs) that challenge conventional AGN models. We report the discovery of three local LRDs at $z = 0…
