Large-scale quantum simulations of dissipative spin-1/2 Heisenberg chains
João C. Getelina, Andrew Cox, Muhammad Asaduzzaman +4
A quantum many-body system coupled to an environment relaxes to a nonequilibrium steady state that can sustain order with no equilibrium counterpart. Computing such steady states i…
Closed form logical error rate approximations for surface codes
Shaked Regev, Daniel Dilley, James Nutaro +2
We propose a novel method to calculate logical error rates in surface codes, assuming independent and identically distributed physical errors. These results fit well known scaling…
Iterative warm-start optimization with quantum imaginary time evolution
Phillip C. Lotshaw, Titus Morris, Stuart Hadfield +1
Approximate combinatorial optimization is a promising use case for quantum computers. The quantum optimization algorithms often employ a fixed ansatz that evolves an unbiased initi…
Learning Rollout from Sampling:An R1-Style Tokenized Traffic Simulation Model
Ziyan Wang, Peng Chen, Ding Li +4
Learning diverse and high-fidelity traffic simulations from human driving demonstrations is crucial for autonomous driving evaluation. The recent next-token prediction (NTP) paradi…
